About Me

Well, lets see, married for 20 years, have two sons, one daughter, 3 grandkids.

I am what you would call a Country Boy. Born and Raised in North Central Alabama on a farm. My Dad retired early while I was still a teenager and I was lucky enough to be schooled by him in the arts of hunting, fishing, trapping, and general living off the land stuff.

He passed away this past January from Bladder Cancer at the age of 94. He was my Hero, and I miss him dearly.

I currently am Employed by a company-GSI/Hired Hand for the last 17 years that manufactures Agricultural Equipment and my position is listed as Mechanical Technician in the Engineering Department.

I am currently building a 1978 Camaro to run in the 1/8th mile Drag's. Should have it completed and ready to run next Spring when the track opens.

I have a 23 Acre farm with no neighbors in any direction for 1/4 mile. This will remain the same as long as I am alive.

Planning to start a new 2 story Cabin with full basement in the near future built into a mountainside overlooking my whole property. Have a creek that spans 20 feet and runs year round that I am going to build a free span bridge across for access to my new Cabin.

Lots to do, little time to do it all.

I am just shy of 6 feet tall, brown hair, blue eyes, 280 lbs., used to be into Bodybuilding in my younger days, but not so much anymore.

I love turning wrenches, fabrication, welding, torching, building stuff.

That pretty much sums it up I think for now.

Jim C.
