  1. I had a look there but couldn't find it ? possible to post a link ? Cheers Bob.
  2. Thanks for the quick responses, I pulled the relays(9horn & light) and was able to start it ? Doesn't appear to have a switch under the seats , will do the elec when my son visits. Cheers Bob.
  3. I have a '97 Pathfinder, and the alarm goes off on it's own, and I don't have a remote as I don't use the alarm. In the past I was able to shut it off by inserting the key in the doorlock, apparently that tells the alarm it's a good key and not jimmied and is supposed to shut it off ? The dealership is 100Km away and i really don't trust them, they charged $1600 to someone else for the same problem. Appreciate any help or tips, so I can start it, then I'll go buy another remote, Cheers Bob.
  4. Thanks for all of the input. I know what to look for now. Cheers Bob
  5. I'm looking to buy a set of rims to mount my snowies on. Can you tell me which rims (Toyota etc) will interchange with my 97 Pathie pls ? thanks Bob.
  6. Received, haven't been on for a long time because of spamming Cheers Bob.
  7. I did the same thing on another vehicle, drilled it out and used an "easy out". Can you get your hands on a small "easy out" and a left hand drill bit ? Quite often just using a left hand drill bit does the trick. you would need to file the screw flush , centre punch it and just carefully drill it out.
  8. Thanks for the advice, will go with NGK plugs, and found the plug tool in the kit under the seat.
  9. Looking at changing my plugs, with all the different plugs I couldn't decide? What's the best plug for a '97 Anybody know the trick for removing the rear Plug ? Thanks nessy.
  10. I recently switched to Mobil 1 synthetic.Seems to be OK.
  11. Thanks, no error codes come on.I disconnected the battery for 10 mins. I noticed today that the revs stick momentarily after I shift. I also cleaned the throttle body with brake cleaner, I wonder if that's part of the problem? Also checked the MAF, sparkling clean. Ireplaced the K&N filter with a paper one, thinking that might have caused the dirty throttle body.
  12. I recently had to clean my throttle body due to a build up of gunk.Throttle is nice and smooth again, but when I start up when it's cold the revs go to 2000, and it hunts between 1200 and above till the engine gets to operating temp. Any thoughts on what could be causing this. Thanks Bob.
