  1. Nothing personal, but how about working on something that people want that hasn't been done yet? Jackson Autosport sells these things for about $50CDN shipped which is a pretty fair price. You're stepping on the toes of one of the few companies that decided to actually try to make aftermarket parts for the R50.

  2. What do you call a fish with no eye...?

    A FSHHHHHHH

What do you call a deer with no eye...?

*shrugs shoulders* No-eye deer (no idea...get it?)

What do you call a elephant mixed with a rhino...?

*shrugs shoulders* eleph-ino (hell if I know... get it?)

Not sure that last one is completely 8yo safe.

  3. Hub on Titans is 78mm. On my 96 R50, the hub is about 110mm...so yeah some opening up would be needed. Plus, the 17" "Offroad" wheels have some crazy backspacing...like 7+ inches IIRC. I have a 2004 Titan and never had thought for a second the wheels would fit on my R50 even though the bolt pattern is the same.

  4. I think if they did fit, you'd have to fab up a set of new cats since the stock cats come in right where the stock manifold ends. I wish someone knew though because I know for a fact I have a cracked manifold and if there are other reasonably priced options besides stock, I'd consider it.

  5. Welp, went outside this morning to go to work and was greeted to a pool of brake fluid under the left from wheel. Did a quick check and no signs of leaking from the bleed screw or the where the brake line connects. I'm guessing (didn't have time to fully diagnose) piston seals are shot!? New caliper or is there a piston seal kit available? How can this happen so quickly, overnight?

  6. How much should I expect to pay to replace a driver's side exhaust manifold? I've been living with it for a while but now the sound is just getting irritating and I can sort of feel a loss of power and gas mileage seems to be suffering. I know the dealership will charge an arm and a leg but if they break a stud, would they repair it free? Damn Pathy was supposed to be saving me money...

  7. Thanks a lot rod...i must have clicked on something else on their site that wasnt the right part, it was called strut mount.

Yeah, I hate the way it's labeled...BEARING STRUT-MOUNTING. Strange. Anyway, try going here and clicking on the part. It's actually kinda nice to just click on the picture rather than trying to figure out whether their description make sense or not.

  8. Im getting AC springs. I figured after I get the lift installed after a week or two ill get the alignment done and give them to the alignment shop to install. Thanks for all the advice. And Vengeful: you mean 2 pairs, not 4 pairs right? They are sold in pairs for 18 bucks, and 4x4parts.com said you needed two pairs.

Thanks for all your help. Now does anyone have a good place to get the strut bearings? 50 a piece is a good amount and Im hoping i can find them a little bit cheaper

$29 - Courtesy Parts usually has really good pricing and the parts mgr my local Nissan dealership will always match their prices (and most online prices in general).

*Edit - Actually nissanparts.org has them for $26 each. Not too bad if you can get your local Nissan dealership to match.

  9. I just installed new KYBs front and rear. Rides much, much better. Before that, it was the stockers from 1996 (160K+ miles on them). I like the ride now. The rear is a bit firm and I just don't want it to get too much firmer if I get lift springs.
