  1. Ok, I've seen this a few times. What I usually find is that one of the two power supplies (switched or unswitched) is not "open". You get the radio to power up but it reads incorrect voltage at one source or the other and goes into safe mode. Check to make sure you have power at both wires before you move on to anything else...
  2. Thanks! I can't even begin to show how much it's appreciated!
  3. There is one that comes off the tbi to the air filter housing but this one is not it unless it goes to a spot further along the intake (pre-filter)....
  4. All, I recently got a wd21 CHEAP! It has issues though. The first issue I'm trying to tackle is the mess of vacuum lines that the previous owner left me... I have found most of them using the Vacuum diagram from other areas of the forum but this one seems to be elluding me and I know its the cause of some of my engine issues... Here is the picture of the one end that I know it belongs to, does anyone know where the other end goes?
  5. No argument about that. Thats why i recomend against using a hammer...
  6. IDK man, if its a new starter the brushes should be fine. I've only found that the hammer trick works when the brushes or windings are bad. Put a cupple "pecker tracks" on a new starter and there goes the warranty...
