That sucks man. At least you had the big ole bumper or I would imagine would would be needing a lot more parts. Also sucks you are at fault when clearly the other person was being an idiot. Good luck with everything though.

I just picked up my Pathfinder a month of so ago and am very much a newb to trucks in general. I also dont know the last time any of the fluids were changed and with the truck coming up on 90k miles, I figure it would be a good time to change them. What are fluids are recommended for the tranny, diffs, and transfer case? The only brands Im familar with are Redline and Royal Purple. Also, what weight oil do you guys run? (Ill probably be running Mobil One synthetic becuase that is what I use in my other cars.) One last thing, I saw a comercial for this Quaker State "high torque" oil intended for suvs and trucks. I was curious how motor oil could effect the power of the engine. Thanks

Cool. One last thing. Is there an easy way to get the overhead console off? Im kind of a putz and dont want to break and tabs or clips.

I know this is an old thread, but Im trying to wire up a radar detector as well. I was planning to tap into the moon roof wires since they are only drawing juice when the car is on. Does anybody know the color of the positive/negative wires by chance? This is the same thing I did on my M3 and it has worked perfectly for a couple of years. The Pathfinder is a 2001. Thanks
