  1. Anyone have any information on this kind of problem? I am replaceing my engine and installing the oil pan. Ran into a problem .... when installing the pan with new gasket it doesn't look like the rear of the pan is compressing the gasket. The space in-between the rear main seal housing (gasket) and oil pan is about 1/8 inch. My second problem is the gasket is being pushed out the side of the pan to easily. Hardley tightening the bolts at all. Maybe I should of installed it dry. FYI - It did not have a gasket before. Only gasket was over the bearing end caps. Danny
  2. Found an engine from C&S Motors in So Cal. A low mileage used from Japan. I am calling them tomorrow to see where that leads me. Anyone heard or purchased from them before? Thanks SC88Pathy I feel a little more comfortable Getting one of these Japan motors. I need to get this put together in the next few weeks. My daughter needs a car and old dad is here to help. She is the one that bought the Pathy originally. Thanks slick for the info and parts connection (http://www.partsdinosaur.com/index.html). Here is the engine prior to the pull. Danny

  4. My 93 pathy v6 hydro locked. My son took it swimming. It ran good prior to swimming lessons. Info: 130,000 on the engine. Removed engine and the piston rods were bent. After removing rods the crank turned smoothly. Rust on the piston walls and cam lobes. I am looking to buy an engine from RPM or ebay. Big price difference on EBAY. Has anyone purchased from RPM? Used engines with low mileage from Japan (are they for real)? The engines from EBAY seem to come from JBM. Has anyone purchased from them? Any suggestions or comments. Help Thanks Danny
