just got thru dealing with this exact issue myself. the answer is... if your alarm is 'stuck' in the rapid flash mode, pull off the positive terminal of the battery. when you hook it back up all should be good. i had to repeat several times before it reset, but finally it did. proceeded to program my fob, and all was well. hope that helps! chili
