88 have you checked out my "Help ME" thread in general? I would love your input.
-
I will get some PB tomorrow!
-
I know, looking further ahead I can see even bigger problems coming soon! But until I get the driveshaft out I can't move on! I was hitting the bolt side w/ an impact for about 3min. straight and got no movement.
-
No. I have removed the adjuster and crossmember. I guess I could remove it also I didn't want to though.
-
MMMMM That looks like some quality tequila. How in the hell can I get the t-bar out venge?
-
Oops LOL Crap I guess I'll have to start returning before I've even purchased anything!
-
OMG what did I get into! I have beat and banged for about 4 hrs. so far and still can't get the R. driveshaft bolts broke loose, driver side T-bar wont slide out, blew a seal on my floor jack, jammed back window into the garage door, and popped my shoulder out! Any tips or a magic potion I can pour on the stubborn parts? I had originally planned on having this done by the end of this weekend......maybe not!

My 95 used to like high speeds, now with all I'm doing to her she prolly won't be as cooperative.

Still not as cool as Montana's but pretty kick ass anyway!

Ya'll aren't much help today. LOL

WOW! I just called a local junkyard and they quoted me $75 for JGC springs! I'm just going to order some through a local parts house $72 -$900 $828
-
That will be done also but I didn't list it since there is no money involved except fluids and gasket.
-
Very nice!

I am going to get the JGC springs. What shocks would be a good match to them? I have read the RS5116's is that correct?
-
Thats kinda what I was thinking but I'm not sure just how weak those things are. Could I possibly weld braces on mine to secure it for now?
-
As I was looking at mine I thought they couldn't be helping much anymore.
-
Is the L&P centerlink not advised right now?
-
$400 Black Panthers I assume is my best bet?
-
$100 t-bars coming soon -$1000 $900 left

It sounds like the power button on your dash may be on, make sure that it's NOT switched to power.
-
They're just like any other shock, you can get standard replacements at most any autoparts.

Check the pinned thread called shifting on the fly!

OK, I goofed on my first post on this subject and should have made my question a little more clear. I want your input into what I should start spending my money on. The project: Factory '94 LE 32x10.5 are already coming and do not count against my target amount. This is NOT a DD, I will do very little road driving and when I do I'll put factory wheels back on. The engine is pretty stout for it's 189+K miles, I am replacing the tranny this week with a newer factory rebuild. The mission: Stage 1: Starting now! Making it a little more rugged off-road.ETA And clear the 32's Stage 2: Starting this fall. Engine overhaul. Stage 3: Starting next spring. SAS I am trying to keep stage 1 at or below $1000. I have worked on and drove several dedicated off-road vehicles but have never started one from the ground up. I am trying to avoid spending the majority on suspension since it will only be IFS for less than a year, but I realize that I must spend some. Thanks for your input, Cory
