Wondering if this is normal, or if my throttle bodies need cleaning, or if it is something else? Basically, whenever I hit the gas pedal when the pathy is in cruise control, there is a certain amount of resistance before the pedal starts moving. It's a 2000 R50 w/ about 160k on the clock Cheers!

ah so wiring doesn't look too bad then i hadn't actually crawled under there to see what i need to do yet blame the rainy rainy summer in Vancouver for that one. I bought a new dirtbike (which I need to trailer, hence the hitch) and I haven't even ridden it yet!

Other than the big hunk of metal itself, I'm more asking about the wiring Is there a stock terminal that I just have to plug the trailer wiring into? Or will I have to splice the trailer wiring harness into existing wires, causing fun and electrical fires by the time I'm done? If anyone has a hitch and wiring for sale for a R50, 2000 Pathfinder to be exact, let me know. Went to a local place, they want $620 for a hitch and wiring installed! Rip off...

is that pressure on the stock tires? (which i have) 10 psi would make them bulge fairly good wouldn't it? I don't want to trade off slightly better mileage with wearing the center of the rubber out and having mint outside edges

Also really interested if the K&N improved mileage. Also, I'm running my stock tires at the reccomended 26 psi. Has anyone found an improved mileage with different psi ?

that was me who posted the schematic my pathfinder didn't come with the vanity mirrors with lights, or the top console with temp and compass. i also don't have the sunroof. the only piece of the wiring harness that was in my headliner was for the two map lights on the top console. i tapped into those for my new vanity mirrors with lights, but they are constant, not switched on/off with the key. i'm worried that i will drain the battery if i hook the mirror up to a constant power source. the mirror is aftermarket, gentex something-or-other. autodimming, like the new cadillacs so you don't have to flip it at night. i removed the stock pathfinder one, and have to glue the new one to the windshield and wire it up i think i'll tap into the cigarette lighter. i'll post some pics when i have everything working (although it won't be that exciting)

thanks for the replies, yeah, my pathfinder is an auto so I have that clutch hole. I need switched power, as in you only get power when the key is turned on, like accessory, rather than a constant feed. Could anyone point out where in the fusebox I could tap into? I have the manual off of the net but can't find what I need. Cheers

I have a 2000 Pathy. For those that have done a bit of wiring in the past, where was the best, and most easily accessed place to run a wire through the firewall. Just one 16gauge wire. Also, where the most easily accessed 12v switched power source on a pathfinder? I think I'll go with the cigarette lighter, but anywhere easier to get at to tap into than that?

hey all my rear fenders on the inside are starting to bubble just a little bit. the cancer has started, so what does the collective brains here suggest what to do? bodyshop for sand, fix and repaint? what?

I'm the kinda guy who likes neat and tidy @!*% but that's a hell of an idea. solder it all together and it should be fine. now to find out what wire is ground and which is power...i have the manual downloaded for my suv but can't find this tidbit

hey all have a 2k pathfinder i don't have the lighted vanity mirrors, and found it to be a pain in the ass (the girl complaining about not being able to do makeup and crap) so i picked up a set of the lighted ones from a 2k off of ebay also nice because they have the homelink, which is a huge bonus for me but i don't have the stock wiring harness in the headliner because i am sunroof free. the question is, can i snag the whole stock harness with all the attachments from a truck that has them? anyone that has done any extensive modding know if i can just swap the whole interior room lamp harness over? looks like i can from wiring diagrams, but i'd like advice from the combined knowledge here before doing it. cheers
