  1. Of course I took the easy way, and bought myself a 93 XJ Sport with Rusty's 3" lift. :hide:

The timing belt broke on the Pathy last week and damaged some valves. After checking everything else that needs to be fixed on it, I started to hunt for a Jeep around the same cost. It didn;t take long to find one that was setup the way I want. Only thing I need to do is treat some surface rust, and figure out what to do with the rusted rockers.

OK, harass away. I thought this over and this is what fit for me. If I had the extra time, money, and storage space, I would keep the Pathy and turn it into a trail rig. Unfortunately that is not possible.

  2. OK, while cruising on the highway on Sunday, my timing belt broke. I have already replaced it, but when I started the truck up it was running really rough. After some testing, I found that I can remove all the odd numbered plug wires and it runs the same. If I try removing one of the even number plug wires, it won't even start.

I figure I have some belt valves on the on the passenger side, but is it possible that I somehow miss timed that cam? I checked the all the timing marks, but is it possible I somehow still have it out of time where only one bank of cylinders is correct?

  3. Try to hook up with these guys: Berkshire 4 Wheelers. I have gone on 1 run with them so far to Coy Hill, and am setup to go to some private land that they have access to in Western MA this Sunday. They are mainly Jeep owners, but I got to prove to a group of them what a Pathfinder is capable of. :aok:

  5. We watched the fireworks in our town last night, and they were the best they have ever been. Nothing beats hanging out with a few good friends, eating, drinking, and watching some fireworks.

Tonight I set off $40 worth of the legal fireworks for my son whose birthday is tomorrow.

  6. I do it for the relaxation. All the stress and drama in myself and around me disappears when I am out there. I also love pushing the Pathy to the limits and showing fellow non-Pathy wheelers what the old girl can do.

  7. My wife drives our 2004 Honda Civic coupe, and my work vehicle is a 2005 Chevy Express 2500 extended van. I'm glad the company pays for maintenance and gas on that one.

  8. Thanks everyone. I actually spent most of the day sleeping since I am sick. Then I decided to get up and wash the Pathy and give her a quick coat of wax. Only part I didn't do was the roof since I didn't feel steady enough to climb a ladder.
