  1. Hi Cristian Welcome to NPORA. Nice to hear from somebody in Romania. For myself I come from Germany and my wife and I go back every couple of years to visit family. Last time we visited Hungary, Budapest to be exact. Next time we were thinking of Romania. Maybe we can chat some about it. Thanks My e-mail: ramknopp@msn.com
  2. Exploring (just see whats around the next corner or over the next hill), Hunting, Fishing, Camping, Photography. I just love to get away from town. Somehow it's nicer in rural areas and small towns.
  3. Just wanted to say HI to everybody I joined NPORA actually a couple of weeks ago but never introduced myself. My name is Reiner and I live in Las Vegas, Nevada. Purchased a few weeks ago a 1994 Pathfinder V6 SE 4x4. Has 168,000 miles and runs good. Everything is stock. I am not planning any major upgrades. Had a 92 Nissan Kingcab before and it took me wherever I wanted to go. Pretty sure the Pathfinder can do the same, just more comfortably. I use it mostly for weekend excursions going exploring, hunting, fishing, camping and photography in Southern, Central and Eastern Nevada. Any more people out there in my neck of the woods ??? So far everybody here in this club has been helpful with suggestions and recommendations. Thank you to everybody Reiner
  4. Hi I live in Las Vegas, but do most of my exploring, hunting, camping and photography in Central and Eastern Nevada. Welcome to NPORA. For myself I found very good information and tips here. Reiner
  5. I appreciate the advice, but I am mechanically not that good. I had in a prior vehicle (2000 Silverado 1/2 ton) an Auburn LS installed and it cost me $900. Unfortunately at this time I can't afford a purchase like this. But I will keep it in mind for the future. Thank you all which answered my post. You are Gentlemen Reiner
  6. Thank you for your help. Since I am new to this it took me a while to figure out what "sticky" is. I took my Pathfinder out in the desert yesterday evening and stepped hard on the gas pedal. It put down 2 nice ruts. So I have a LSD. It will not work if vehicle is jacked up and you try to turn wheels by hand. I guess it needs more revolutions to activate the LSD than it's possible by manual turning the wheels. Thanks again Reiner
  7. Just bought a 94 Pathfinder and want to change all fluids. In order to use correct differential oil I need to know if rear differential is a limited slip. How do I know if my rear differential is a limited slip ? Vehicle is a 1994 Nissan Pathfinder 4x4, SE, V6, Automatic Trans, 165,000 miles I lifted rear axle and turned one wheel, other side turns in opposite direction. Does this mean I do not have a LS differential ? Couldn't find any tags on rear axle ? Thank you everybody for your advise and help.
