1999.5 LE 165000 miles LOVE IT! I have replaced rear shocks, front struts, trans fluid with B&M Trick shift, rear gear oil with syn. It picked up a shimmy felt in the steering wheel at 75,000 got horrible @ 95,000 better but still there if you pay attention after I replaced the struts.

  1. I have a 99.5 build date 12/98 that get a wobble that can be felt in the steering wheel (wheel moves about an inch) I replaced rear shocks didn't help replaced front struts wobble is better but still there. What is the costt of replacing the parts ypu are talking about??
  2. Hey folks, I sure am glad I found this site! I have a 1999.5 Nissan Pathfinder LE that I bought new in 2000. My girl has been a great friend with only a couple of complaints. She now has just over 165,000 miles on her. I wish I had a picture on this computer I could post, oh well. She is black with a gray leather int. with a factory brush guard and running boards. I have 2 complaints and I have had them since I first test drove it, No power and transmission changes gears every time it even sees a hill and once it drops out of overdrive into passing gear it stays way too long. I wind up bringing up the RPM's and letting off the gas to get the tranny to go back into overdrive. My fuel economy at best is around 15mpg. My pathy's build date is 12/98. Are all 99.5,s like this if not any ideas on how to correct these issues??
