  1. i am asking for the control arms and springs at once. and how do they perform?
  2. the AC control arms adn rear springs, Calmini control arms and springs, and RC and JGC springs. no extra body lift or anything. straight control arms and springs lift pictures please. i wanna see how it looks, and how much performance did that 3" give u guys? feel any different? i am 2wd and i am one who like dunes, straight sand, and mine is more prerunner just lookin for some wider stance and higher sitting. Front side and rear pictures please.
  3. well thanks so far on ur guyses advice, i already have a idler arm brace on, and i have rebuilt my front end from center link to tie rod ends. Do you guys think i should try and just get custom control arms built for me and try for a coilover setup? and what coilovers are there that are good brands or even a cheap version of the main ones such as king and fox. I dont know rly how to shop for coilovers and or there setups. advice needed please let me know thanks grant.
  4. I was just seeing if anyone actually is 2wd like myself. seems everyone lives for that 4x4 stuff. I like goin fast and was wondering if anyone else does to and has any input on what suspension mods would be nice for whoops besides full coilovers. I wanna use A arms and shocks, no coilover setup, want it to stay pretty much stock but moves great. It alrdy does so i know it dont need much. Thanks for ur input.
  5. Well no one rly knows me on here but i got my pathfinder christmas day this past december. has a newer motor in it from japan, stock transmission 280+ thousand on it. The decision i am needing to make is this. My second gear in my trans grinds all the time unless trans is rly hot. My alternator bearings are going out on the pulley, My tensioner is messed up, belts keep coming loose, timing belt and water pump need done. I work for a parts store and all but my problem is this. I bought it for 1000$$$$$ I put new tires, system, new entire front suspension, full tune up, and i am sure more stuff just cant think of. Do you think it is gonna be worth it for me to dump another grand into the pathfinder or try and get a new one? i am a 2ws pathfinder also. Any tips or hints hit me with them. Thanks guys.

    240sx 1990

    Hey guys, i bought a 1990 240sx, and i also have a 1990 pathfinder. My 240 i got 2 days ago and there is a loud wining noise coming from either the transmission or the throw out bearing. When i have the clutch out at idle the throw out bearing wines like crazy. and when i drive it wines a lot to. Do you think it could be just the throw out bearing making the noise? and its only when i am on the gas. Also, is there any custom long travel kits for the pathfinder that u guys would recomend checking in to? thanks guys.
  7. my second gear syncros are going out and i am getting a whining from my transmission. it is 2wd. and i am wondering if anyone knows where i can get a complete overhaul kit for my transmission. if anyone has the link let me know thank u.

  11. Lets just say this, i searched, a lot, and i am having some luck of information. but i want to see what u guys have to say. I have read to get new lower control arms, for my rear, and the new links, but what are the real name of the links so i can try and get them from my parts store i work at. Can anyone help? thanks. Well i guess the lower control arms were for the new pathfinders lol, sorry i forgot about my linked rear from factory, but i just called nissan, panhard rod 169.99. with bolts, u think if i do just that it could stop it? and i am gonna put new upper control arms and rear springs on in the next few weeks.
  12. ok i am gonna take it in to a shop and see whats up. big brand alrdy said visually they cant tell whats wrong, but bushigns were a main thing to do.
  13. and what bushings should i actually do? Pan hard bushings?, Trailing arm bushings??, Tension arm?,
  14. Alright, was wondering if anyone encountered this problem in there pathmaker. i got a 1990 and every time i am driving and i go to shift my back end shifts side to side. Big brand said it could be my bushings in my links, has anyone had this happen and or fixed it? And where might i find those bushing at? any clue? thanks grant

  17. thank god lol. now i feel a lot better. thank u bro. So my question is now, if i do control arms, what ones should i do. basically i am gonna get some new front shocks after i fix this problem, and upper control arms, torsion bars, rear springs, and then a few motor stuff. any opinions on just having this set up, i just go to pismo beach a lot and cruise it. i am never gonna jump it unless its by mistake let me know what u think.
  18. one more thing to point out or question about i should say. There is a rubber bump stop under neath where the control arm lays, the driver side has it still the passenger side does not, would that be the problem?
  19. from what i can see no frame damage. but who knows unless i take it to a body shop right? anyone think any suspension pieces could be messed up? or is it all frame related. and will control arms fix this?
  20. ya mine is passenger side. so that makes sense. ur on the right track. so u got a solution yet? lol.
  21. correct but its the other side of the inner part of control arm.
  22. and one more thing, when i stop decently fast there is a metal on metal clunk or scrape noise comin from my right front also. same area i assume.
  23. ok its the passenger side shock. if u look at the control arm hanging down as ur truck is on jack stands, and wheel off. Its the left side of the control arm hitting my stock replacement shock. about a inch and a half wide persay. my alignment has not been done yet because i need to do the 3 more tie rod ends. other than that i dont know why. so no one else has had this happen?
