USMC0369
This is my first post and I have some questions. I have a 1998 Pathfinder that is stock. I am going to put the OME lift on when i get back from my deployment. I am looking at the heavy front coils, medium rear coils, OME shocks, and KYB GR2 struts. I plan on doing the front hubs when everything is torn apart. The main question I have is what strut mount do I go with? I saw a post somewhere on the site but have been looking for three days and cant find it. I wanted to know what others have used, what the pros and cons are of each. If anyone has part numbers and brands that they could pass along to help me out that would be helpful. The final thing that I have to ask is does anyone see any holes in what I have planned: OME Heavy Front Coils OME Medium Rear Coils OME Rear Shocks KYB GR2 Front Struts 15x8 American Racing teflon Mojave Rims 3.75 Backspace 31 10.5x15 BFG All Terrain Warn Manual Locking Hubs Thanks for the help. exit34rocker1017
you'll want to go with an OEM strut mount, and you'll also want to replace your strut bearing while your in there. i have heard KYB's strut bearing and mount package fails at around 12,000 miles. you can go to the dealer to get replacements, or order them online from a factory site. factory nissan parts strut diagram here is the site i ordered mine off of. look at the diagram of the strut. you are going to need numbers 9 and 12, two of each! good luck and welcome to the forum! exit34rocker1017
It took about 3-4 days. They shipped very quickly and were packaged very well. I highly recommend using that site.
