Very nice work. I'm curious about the rubber mats. Was there a set available for the Pathfinder as well? I'm not a fan of the generic set I have. Be nice to have a factory set.

So, the steering wheel shakes sometimes...

No manual hubs I'm aware of. It's completely stock aside from the radio. I've considered the u joints as a possible issue. Won't go any further until I check the bearings and front axles though. Need to make the time for it. -

An Excellent idea, I'll jack it up tomorrow, barring rain, and give the wheel bearings a check. Thanks rgallant! -

Lol, might use that as an excuse to buy new wheels and tires... not a fan of the stocks rollers. -

Not sure to be honest. My Mallfinder just turned 63k, so I'd just assume so. -

Oof... thanks for the suggestions. There was a dynamic Balance the second time around, how well calibrated the machine was, I have no clue. -

Struts are dry, tires have been balanced twice, and rotated just as many steering wheel shake only occurs at, or after 60mph. Doing the alignment is really just because I'm not sure if it's ever been done. -

Already have an appointment, thanks for the suggestion CNAM. Wife took it out over the weekend and told me it pulls left a bit.. lol. I don't usually associate vibrations with alignment. If an alignment doesn't affect I'll check in. -
That's right, I said sometimes. Only after 60mph. I've noticed it isn't all the time, but after 60mph is where it will start. I've also noticed I can somewhat feel it while my left knee is resting on the door panel. I've also noticed the water in the water bottle in the cup holder ripples quite a bit. I've looked at the bushings, had the tires balanced and rotated, rotated them again, checked the wheelbearings.. Nothing seems to be loose. Any ideas? I really hate chasing vibrations, especially after a 2 year stint under a Discovery 2, vibrations plague those things and are always expensive.

Check Evilbay, wife snagged this thing for 500 shipped. I feel I stole it.

Jersey FTW... lol, not really. Hahahahahahaha

Nice! Did you ever have an issue with the IPOD connection? Apparently I have to disconnect, then reconnect mine. It's slightly annoying.

Starting to love my R50. Cheaper than my Discovery II by leaps and bounds... plus it isn't snooty and uptight about parts and maintenence. Noticed the stereo was severely lacking, and fell in love with the Android Auto in my buddies '16 Silverado. So I bought a Pioneer AVH-4200-NEX. Replaced all the door speakers as well. Never been an audio guy soo...yea. either way, it's so cool to link Google Maps directly to my radio.

Just finished a hand buff and wax. Look3d like garbage after just a wash...

This is by far my favorite generation Pathfinder. I do like my 04... this just has so much personality. -
Love these older Pathfinder. I recall the first time I saw one as a child, couldn't find the rear door handle to save my life. Still love the look of them today!
-
Lmao... thanks for the heads up!
-
Are they spaced out as well? If so, I'd go with a 16 to have the look you do.
-
Thought about steelies, cheap to get. I'm with you, I'd like 17s. Love the wayb17s look on these things.

I'm thinking I'd like a bull bar, rear bumper guard, and wheels. Not a fan of the stocks. Hard to buy new wheels, mine barely have a scratch in them and the tires are 90%. It's just difficult to say no to these... Or these...

Thanks guys. Yes my Rover was a money hungry hippo. I still enjoyed every minute of it. Not the repairs.. lol. Maintenance costs where getting steep. Found this Pathfinder for such a good price I(and the wife) could not say no.

Hello all! I'm a big fan of forums for cars for the information resource and helpful members, so I've been scouring the Pathfinder specific forums and decided upon this one. Purchased anot 04 SE this past Friday with a whopping 60,000 miles on it to replace my bank account draining Discovery II. Looking forward to making it my own!
