  1. i did notice improvements. especially 2nd and 3rd gear. 3rd gear mostly though. when i gun it it feels like it breathes better, in 3rd gear i keep accelerating when before it sounded like it was going to blow up, plus the needle climbs the speedo alot quicker. alot less air restriction thats for sure. sounds alot better as well, brings my K&N cone to life, when throttling it sounds almost as if there's a big gust of wind rushing through my 300zx hood scoop on it haha. you know, times like this i wonder how a full rebuild, headers, and MSD would feel
  2. oh forgot to tell you guys, i got her fixed, it was my MAF sensor ha! someday i'll post pictures.
  3. yeah thanks guys, i went to retry the whole process today, got almost fully finished and the screws to my maf sensor slipped out of my hand into the engine bay, and i'm sure you all know about the very little room in these rigs. so i ripped off my skid plate hoping to find them, but didn't, so i spent about 10minutes playing in the mud and yuck but no luck, what a ruff way to start a simple process, oh well its fixable, thanks again guys. i'll post some pics once i'm finished.
  4. please don't go thinking i'm trying to turn my pathfinder in to a honda civic, but i've always wanted to build my own shortram intake, so finally, i built it, everything is in place and looks spot on, no kinks in the vacuum lines, maf sensor is hooked up by an adapter plate, and boy does it look beautiful, only problem is, with the shortram on it it has an incredible irregular idle, and driving it sounds like its being starved of air/and or gas, i'm thinking it may be the mass air flow sensor, or one of the vacuum lines isn't able to do its job, ugh...what does npora think? i would post a picture but i converted back to stock to get to work. should of just snorkled it.
  5. pretty cool to find a place that not only is all about nissan, but all about the pathfinder XD
