Quaker State ?

Hi,

 

I have the question about quality of Quaker State motor oill or ATF. Anybody used it?

I use Valvoline durablend and it works great

I used to use it ... but since have switched to Valvoline ... I heard some time back that it creates an almost varnish like coating on thinks such as rocker arms, springs, rods, crank, etc ... and after tearing apart my first engine I belive it ... it seemed to create an almost sludge like coating of nasty oil on internal surfaces ...

 

now this never created a problem with those items, but I do think that it could definately have an effect on the overall performace of the oiling system over time

I liked it i used thier 4x4 blend for my blazer and never had any problems with it. But hey everyone has something good or bad to say about motor oil, Its really your own opinion that matters.
