Fixed my window

Recommended Posts

So I'm a cheap skate and trying to fix all this stuff that's been neglected on my new truck for who knows how long. You guys may already be aware, but the design of the carriage that moves the window up and down is not one of the best I've ever seen. The entire weight of the window is supported by a tiny piece of plastic. I ended up welding in a little metal bracket and the window works fine now. Kept me from having to buy a new actuator, not real expensive, but like I said I'm a cheap skate. Here's a pic of what I did.
