Yep that would be the bypass hose which is nearly impossible to get to unless you take some things off / get out of the way.

 

I replaced mine when I did my knock sensor job, even though it looked ok, just beacuse I wanted a NEW one on it for that very darn reason....so it wouldnt blow when you least expect it because unlike a radiator hose....its not easy to change.

 

When I did my knock sensor project...I replaced every damn hose I could while I had all the intake manifold, plenum, and valve covers off and out of the way. ( took the valve covers off to replace the gaskets too while I was doing everything else of course)

 

Nissan is sometimes just wonderful with their engine 'designs' and making somethings a pain in the a** to get to.

 

Im too tired to list them all so I'm going to bed...... I still love my Pathy though!

i swear.. no one has this damned hose.

 

what's the diameter of this hose? and what two parts does it connect? and how tall is it? for example, in this bypass hose, it is 4 1/2" tall.

 

 

if i can't find it locally, i'll just order the part mentioned in the previous post. the price went up though. =/

just walk into a kragen auto parts and ask for hose P/N 63735. it's a goodyear hose
