How to remove interior cross bar behind rear seats.

Never Mind--I got it.  Just put a normal flat blade screwdriver in the little gap at the bottom of each side and it pops right out.  It's held in place by two spring clips on each end.  EZPZ.

My 1996 XE has this cross bar with some sort of roll out cover presumably to pull over stuff in the back.  The bar is wedged into the plastic on both sides.  I tried using a deadblow hammer to knock it up and out.  It wouldn't budge.  I don't see any obvious release buttons..or mounting screws.  How the heck do I get it out?
