Looking to purchase a 2011 Pathfinder LE for my son

My son had an accident 2 days before graduating HS last week. Luckily he was not injured but his 2000 Tundra is toast. UPS truck parked illegally on the corner contributed to his obstructed view and UPS got a ticket. 
 

So we been looking for a summer vehicle to get him to and from his lifeguard job and found a 2011 Pathfinder LE w 173k miles asking $6k. It’s in excellent condition and was senior owned. I am not too familiar with Pathfinders since we have been a Tundra family…but my gut is telling me to jump on this rig. Any info would be greatly appreciated!  I read that they have a timing chain instead of a belt which is good because we lost a Tundra at 220k miles for a belt issue.
