PCV and connecting hose problems

Hi all

 

So I have a Pathfinder 2005 (AU Plated) R50 model I believe ... 
Having a huge problem trying to find the PCV hose that is connected directly to the PCV Valve ... 

Its a firm U shape molded hose, and my question is ... can i use an alternative hose that may be flexible enough to get from "point a to point b"

Absolutely, I think you should be able to use any hose, just as long as there aren't any kinks in it, you should be golden..

Just go to the parts store and ask to see their small coolant hoses and find one that has the shape inside of it’s overall figure and trim away what you don’t need.
