towncarblue Posted July 16, 2016 Share Posted July 16, 2016 i have a 2002 nissan pathfinder. i recently got a atp light . im trying to replace the sensor that connects to the transfer case but its stripped and its also very tight spot. here are some pics http://i261.photobucket.com/albums/ii42/towncarblue/IMG_20160715_085408.jpg http://i261.photobucket.com/albums/ii42/towncarblue/IMG_20160715_085441.jpg as you can see im having a difficult time removing this sensor. before i go and pay a mechanic how do it i would like to do it myself....... there is a big bolt right under it and its stopping me from getting a good grip. what happens if i remove this bolt ?? how do i take out this sensor ?? please help Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

towncarblue Posted July 24, 2016 Author Share Posted July 24, 2016 (edited) i went to the mechanic and had him replace it. i paid $75 and all he did was cut the wires, put a socket and a rachet up there and lefty loosy. i was pissed , i could have done it myself. i thought i couldnt fit a rachet up there ... should have tried anyway. after it was replaced the light stayed on... i replaced the relay also ... light stays on. i honestly dont know what to do next. do i need a scanner to turn off the light ?? im trying to find out where the grounded to the chassis also Edited July 24, 2016 by towncarblue Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
