Norcal200486 Posted December 15, 2015 Share Posted December 15, 2015 Ok guys I have a 1990 pathfinder and the other day I took my boat out and coming up the boat ramp that fskcer kicked jumped and spit... Cut out at 2k Rpms. Also when I'm 4 wheeling the engine doesn't wanna go over 2k it starts cutting out. And last but not least if I try a brake stand it cuts out at 2k. Under normal driving conditions it runs like a top. And advice would be great... Replaced (fuel filter, air filter, MAF sensor, cap,rotor,plugs and wires. I'm kinda lost at what else it could be. Kingman Posted December 15, 2015 Share Posted December 15, 2015 That much torque on the motor may be opening up a crack in the intake tube or pulling on the MAF wires enough to cause an open. When attempted a brake stand with the hood open I could see the motor lift atleast 6" so I've gotta replace that. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
