richwill68
Hi All, My 1993 2.7TD R3M has me stumped... Have a really annoying intermittent fault - my drivers door switch panel (so all four windows) sometimes works, sometimes doesn't? Door lock/unlock works all the time. All other window switches operate their respective windows regardless. Have changed the switch for proven ones and the fault remains. Can't seem to find a broken wire either. Getting to my wits end here! Any ideas good people? Regards Rich Edited September 6, 2015 by richwill68
V8path
If the power to (before) the switch is good, then the issue may be after the switch, ie the driver's side window motor or wiring between the switch and motor.
richwill68
Hi V8path, thanks for the reply. Motor works fine. Don't have a wiring diagram for the door harness so unsure which wires should be live. Any ideas?
fasttunes
I think the window switch already needs replacing.

Any simple 12v test light will identify the hot wires http://www.rvdiscountsuppliers.com/test-light-12v-rv-trailer-motorhome-electrical.html
Soninihon
Theres a amp by the pass side kick panel. If you don't hear it click when pressing switch, it needs to be replace. If it does click, then it's something else

Soninihon
Theres no relay. It's a black rectangle box by the side, just take out the side panel (before the door) and it's holding on by a 10m bolt.
