nissan terrano 92 turbo diesel sas help

hi guys im new to the forum

recently purchased my first car, a 92 model nissan terrano td27

ive been offroad a bit in it and i dont like the performance of the ifs front end

been looking around and found that most people do a sas using a dana 44 axle

i have no idea how im going to do the sas but if people have done this themselves to similar cars, i would really appreciate if they maybe give me and indication on the price im looking at to complete the sas and also how others have done a swap to their 4wd

if ya going to sas it mate how much can ya do your self ? because paying for some custom fab is not cheep. may cost $ 3000-4000 I did mine cost $800

I used Nissan gq patrol axles as had then sitting around. just mod a tx12 to ya auto.

how did ya go about the mod for the tx12? i have an auto in my terrano and wanna use a right side output of trans any help is much appreciated

cheers guys, really love your terrano! passengerpete, my grandfather is a metal fabricator and is going to help me do the sas, did you have to get a mod plate for changing the suspension or how did you go about it cheers
