txpath4x4
Hey guys the manual says to loosen the rocker arms when changing timing belt, is this necessary ? Also anyone know the thread pitch and size for the timing cover ? I had the typical bottom one missing... Also who ever did the belt before didn't align it properly... The line that had FR was lined on the driver side, which I guess is the right when looking at motor. Also I cannot find my crank alignment spot on the block... Any ideas

5523Pathfinder
Sorry, I should of added, no, you don't need to loosen the rockers at all. You don't need to touch the top of the engine, really.
