mikestewart395
I am running into several issues ALL surrounding around my TB and lines/hoses. I want to remove it and rebuild it. The reason I ask level of pain is because I work 6 days until late at night. I have a couple hours I could tinker before sleep. I need to know if this is going to be done in a couple hours or not. Haynes manual says to disconnect throttle cable from inside the truck, I'm wondering if that is necc. as I can unbolt it and slide a piece of plywood under it to work on it under the hood. Kingman
Throttle cables pop right of the cams on the throttle body. The entire unit takes maybe a half hour to remove, and a few more hours to rebuild if you take your time and take care of every little piece. mikestewart395
Awesome. I'll clean the garage out and get ready for a late night rebuild.
