spentplsr711 Posted January 17, 2013 Share Posted January 17, 2013 Ok so I think if I read right the pre face lift off-road bumpers and brush guards wont work for 99.5 and up because the brackets are to short. So does that mean that the 99.5 and up bumper would work on 99 and older but just stick out alittle farther? Thanks for any answer I get, or links to this is I missed this topic already. I can see from the many pics on these boards that you pre-face lift R50 guys seem to have a shorter front bumper. My brush guard hugs really close to my bumper so, I would tend to believe that it would protrude a few inches. My factory brush guard is all aluminum and is incredibly easy to drill. I don't see why you couldn't just drill new mounting holes (four on each side just under the front bumper) to bring it in a little. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
