97 R50 auto to manual; tcase question

hi there im new to the cite, so sorry if im in the wrong area. My question is when i do the swap do i need the tcase from the manual tran? or are they both the same. any one done this swap that ran in to some big problems?

They are the same transfer case.

Sweet thank you, how do I tell if its the tx10 or another tcase?

It's either the TX10 or ATX10, part time or auto mode respectively.

alright how do i tell the differance, in the future id like to run manual locking hubs and id rather have the tx10 rather then the auto version cause i know the auto one has 2 pumps and causes a problem if you were to run manual hubs

Look in the interior, the auto transfer case has a dial instead of a shifter.
