Everything works windows, radio, dash lights but when to turn key to start....NOTHING!!! Not even anynoise from the starter and does not turn over at all. I am quite a ways from home right now and starting ro freak just a little. I have gone thorugh all of the fuses and have turned up nothing. Im thinking starter solinoid. Am I right??? devonianwalk
Maybe. Do you have anyone to bang on the starter while you try the ignition?

devonianwalk
Try tapping it hard before turning the ignition?
devonianwalk
Also, what about trying to jump start it? You may have enough juice to run the accessories but, not enough to turn her over.
smoke
I hit it with the head of my axe several times... nothing... A fellow Firefighter tried to jump it off for me with his R51 and nothing happened. Looks like i have to pull the starter and look at it.
projekz
Starters are easy to replace. I just did mine a few weeks ago. Had the exact same issue as you.
Howie
So what happened? Did you get home okay? Or did you spend the night at the gas station?
