ZetaReticulli
Just browsing around and stumbled onto this site. Inherited my dads pathfinder when he died. Its a 1995 Pathfinder LE-V6. Its been in the family a while. Dad bought it with under 11,000 miles when i was in high school and well im 28 now so you do the math. As of today its currently reading 41,600 miles on the odometer. This is technically my 1st vehicle and well this looks like a good place to find info and tips about maintainence. Already saw mrjims video about how to change the sway bar bushings and will eventually muster up the balls to try to change it myself. Really proud of myself for changing the Air Filter recently. Old one looks like it was the factory original so glad i changed it. My biggest mission is gonna be repainting the whole vehicle myself. Mainly cause the factory clear coat is finally starting to peal, mainly on the hood. Also not a fan of the current color(Beige Pearl). Lookin to repaint it to Sahara Beige Pearl which was used on the 2001 Pathfinder. Its a more sharper Tan color, closer to Gold. Just got my new set of rims last week. Pulled off of a 2001 Nissan Frontier Supercharged Desert Runner. Wheels were mounted on the car 3 days ago and look perfect in my opinion. Alrighty i think i'll stop typin now Edited June 7, 2012 by ZetaReticulli

ZetaReticulli
yeah its a decent truck, overall the condition of the vehicle is good but even wit low miles, age does take its toll. i see alot of people that have pathfinders wit rust on top of rear wheel well and right below the rear back door. fortunately i dont have anything like that. another thing i see alot of people have is the rusted out chassis by the rear wheels, fortunately i dont have that problem either, however could really use another coat of the black underbody spray. i really love how small the truck it though, im able to find decent sized parkin spots, can also squeeze through tight spots most of the time. the top speed of 100mph is kinda gay but it is what it is. would much rather a tahoe but this thing paid off, registered and insured so cant complain. hopefully i can squeeze out another 10 years from this vehicle, thats providing we dont go to any more wars and gas cost doesnt exceed $10/gallon. cause lets face it, these things are terrible wit gas. and yes that is my computer in the avatar, built by me, i have more and bigger pics on my facebook, check it out here http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.308336965887059.86663.100001322749025&type=3&l=81b28a4cc4
Tungsten
You want a Tahoe yet you complain about the gas mileage? What kind of gas miles do you get? 20+ mpg is very easy if your truck runs right.
JamesRich
Welcome to the forum! I'm digging your water cooled puter. I thought that was a flux capacitor he was going to add to his pathfinder. James
