Hey everyone, I just got my 1993 5-speed pathfinder about 6 months ago. I have done quite a bit of work to it. I put pacesetter headers and stainless studs, changed all the fluids (transmission 5.1 qts.,Rear diff (LSD), front diff and oil) put a 200sx short ram obx intake on it as well as a 99 pathfinder center console and some better fogs. On top of that a hitch and a nice techkenosha break controller and 7 pin harness! It was bought to pull my moving trailer from Chicago to SC. It did it very well, other then my manifold gasket giving out or one of the welds on the pacesetter broke. Today well driving back home form the dump I noticed as bit of smoke and started smelling oil burn. I pulled off and oil was everywhere lost about a qt. I assumed my relocation kit sprung a leak. Pulled it off and put the filter straight to the block checked the level and started it up. To my dismay the truck is still pouring oil out, even faster now then before. It's coming down the passenger side of the motor. I read and think it may be the oil pressure sender. Either way after I fix that and possibly the exhaust leak it will be up for sale. I have been lurking here for a while and deiced to give you guys first dibs. The truck has very little rust and only 90k now. It also has a repaired rear frame. The hitch is actually welded to the truck on that side as part of the patch. I will get pics and do some work to it and make an official thread. Just wanted to say hey everyone and get off lurker status lol!

Welcome.

Sorry to hear you're having a bit of trouble. Those senders have a bad reputation on many a pathfinder. Just out of curiosity, after putting that much time into in, something as small as a sender is going to get you to put it up for sale? Just wondering.

Also, Mind putting up a picture of the center console swap you did? Like to see how it turned out.

Here are some pics for those who asked. The console required moving the ebrake handle over and taking out some stuff under. I hooked the rear lighter socket up to the seat heater circuit works great. Was pretty easy to do and the cup holders/height are perfect esp with my Miata shift knob. As far as why I want to get rid of it, pretty much the only reason is the gas mileage. I am a small car guy owned countless Escort Gt's, Protege LX's and 4 Miata's and currently own my 5th miata and a 1987 Toyota Celica Convertible. So I have no need for the truck plus I think someone who off roads might love it. It has never been off road that I know of. I am the second owner truck was originally a glass delivery vehicle. Any more questions feel free to ask. I will clean it pull the brake controller wiring out as it's my brothers and possibly the wiring for the amp and subs. Things I didn't mention the truck had done was a new 02 sensor and of coarse the oil switch I did today as well as pro comp es9000 shocks and a Monroe steering stabilizer.

How in the world did you end up with mud stains on the floor mats living in Murrells Inlet? :scratchhead:

I too currently drive a '92 Miata and LOVE IT! My Pathy is my other "toy" but, at least I have some good off-road trails on my side of the state (Rock Hill). I'm surprised that nobody has asked how much you want for it yet. I guess it's because we don't want to lose a Pathy owner!

The center console looks really good. :aok:

Thanks, I have the overhead console from the same truck I was thinking of modding in but haven't pulled the head liner.

I am originally from Chicago and the truck is from Upstate WI originally. Somewhere in between someone had muddy shoes lol. When I get my Miata out here, I will have to make a drive out that way. I am not using my pathy the way it should be used, off road. So I figure give it a better life with someone who will.
