turn signals

ok i have a 1999 pathy. my turn signal fuse blew the other day, so i changed it. the fuse keeps blowing everytime i change it as well as the emergency flashers. the only thing i can think that it would be is a short somewhere but i cant seem to find one. anyone have any answers for me? thanks

Check for melted wiring harnesses and try removing all turn signal bulbs, then trying the flashers - this would probably tell you if it's a bulb or a wiring fault.

it's probably corrosion inside the contacts

I like this idea but, instead of turning on the flashers I'd turn on the left then right turn signals to narrow down which side the possible wiring issue is.

i know when my turn signals were funky the sockets were so corroded that they were actually shorting on the bulb

the fix was to get new turn signal assemblies

ok so about where are those located? and for the corrosion should i just clean it or replace?

inside the hole for the bulb is usually where it starts

you can try to clean it but most likely you will need to replace it
