bro_die Posted April 29, 2011 Share Posted April 29, 2011 Heres the sotry made short. I got this path and since I had it the shifter can be moved without stepping on the brake. Pulled it apart found out old owner zip tied the solenoid so it stays open but that wasnt the problem. The real problem was the shifter button was stuck and it doesnt go back up. Did some wd40 and grease and it went back up but its hard. Is there a spring on the bottom of the shifter that can be relaced so that itll go back up. If I put a shift back on it seems to just go up a little but wont go all the way and free the key from the ignition. Any suggestions in this is greatly appreciated i dont want to spend on the mechanic again reason is he just charged me 450 to reaplce valve cover gasket and im kind of broke.
