Differential oil

I have Pathfinder 99 SE, just need to know what kind of differential oil I need to get, is it limited slip ? and what is the weight?

Crawl under the rear bumper of your rig and take a look at the diff. If there's an orange sticker on your rear diff that says "use LSD oil only", there's your answer. No sticker, open diff.

 

Now, weight? Can't tell you off the top of my head. Anybody else?

I was looking into doing mine a while ago - my Service Advisor gave me this info:

 

for the front diff, we use Penzoil Gearplus GL-5 for limited slip diffs, 80W90 weight. You can use this in the front diff as well, or just use regular 80W90 gear oil. Rear takes 2.5 litres and the front takes about 2 litres or less.
