reverse light won't fully engage

ok guys

 

i got a 5 speed pathy the reverse light engage but turn off as fast as they go on the reverse gear works well i was thinking it has something to do with the reverse lock out switch is it bad or is there some kind of adjustment i'm sure i'll have more questions later about other topics haven't had the time to tear into the truck yet thanx in advance ....a little info about the truck 92 pathy SE 3 liter 6, 5 speed quite a few toys as well as typical rust/rot here and there but i like it!!! :help:

needs a bit of TLC

you will need to replace the reverse light sending switch which is located on the passanger side, upper and most forward point of the side tranny

its not a very expensive fix - like 20-30 bucks. Sometimes the swicth can get stuck, so make sure you have some leverage.
