2001 Pathy Rear Windows Help

ive got an 01 pathy. from the drivers seat i can roll down the rear windows but in the rear neither one of the window switches work, but... if im rolling the window down from the front and someone in the back hits their switch it stops me from rolling it down until they let up. so that tells me that that switch in the rear still works. has anyone had this problem? or does it mean that those switches need replacing?

I might be stating the obvious here, but just to the right of the power door lock switch is a button called the "Lock button." Per the owner's manual:

 

Locking passenger's windows

When the lock button is pushed in, only the driver side window can be opened or closed. Push it again to cancel.

Yeah I know about the window lock because if its engaged I can't roll down the rear windows from the front .
