Oil capactity of a '95 Pathfinder SE?

If it is 4wd then it is 3 5/8 US quarts.

 

I don't know what the 2wd is, I assume it is the same, but no guarantees.

2wd is 4.25 including filter

 

different years have different capacities, so don't everyone go by this

Just out of curiosity does anyone know the reason that most manual transmissions are gear oil while the transfer case it ATF. Seems like they are both real similar... just a bunch of gears.
