Takumi Posted October 7, 2009 Share Posted October 7, 2009 i have a 1995 pathfinder xe that im having trouble switching from 2wd to 4wd. the shifter does not click, or stop at different selections at all. it feels like a standard car going from 1st to 2nd. is there a bushing or something i can replace to fix this problem? is this common? Takumi Posted October 7, 2009 Author Share Posted October 7, 2009 Check the linkages and make sure that the lever is even attached to anything. its definitely connected bc it goes into 4wd and 2wd, but i have to stop, guess where to put it, drive to see what its in, then if its not in the gear i want i have to do that all over again. it doesn't click or stop when your moving it into a gear.
