I have 95 Pathfinder. I get a ticking noise whenever i change the oil and it only happens when the car is cold. once it gets hot the sound goes away. but it only happens after every oil change. Could it be the manifold or the lifters? I know that pathfinders have a bad history with manifold problems. PLease HELP

its the lifters ... it would only be harmfull if it were to continue to do it all the time ... it's perfectly normal and there is no real good way to fix it ... some have used different brands of motor oil with some success ...

Double check the electrical connection to the pressure sensor. It is located just above the starter. If everything is connected then just follow matterhorn's words. I am now an advocate of getting a complete set of gauges in these puppy's.
