tyrhine
ok so last time I went wheeling, everytime I would hit a big puddle I could drive for about 5-10 seconds before I didn't have any throttle respsone. like if I where to floor it, it would only rev up to 1500 maybe. would that be caused by a transmission issue? or would it have to do something with the water, because this only happend after I would hit a pretty large puddle. and it ran fine after I would put it in netrule and rev it a bit, then it would actuly rev up past 1500. but yea I only had trouble with the puddles. makes me want to make a snorkle. Kingman
Sucking water into the engine, and/or getting water into the seats of the spark plugs, making it run rough until the engine heat dries it out. Mine does the same thing, I have a rust hole in the driver's fender, which leads right into the intake tube for the throttle body. I found that out the hard way... I've since moved it around a little so it's not such a direct water-suck into the engine.
