Kittamaru
For my welding class project, i want to set up a MINIATURE replica of the front end of the Pathfinder and do a MINIATURE SAS. To do this I need either blueprints or highly detailed instructions / pictures and dimensions so I know what the poop I'm doing. Yes, I'm doing this as practice for the real deal - One of my classmates works a lot on jeeps and did a conversion with a Dana...60 I think it was (or 66... I dunno, dont' remember off hand) and said he's willing to help me with my lift and everything when the time comes. My big thing is A) I have more important things to fix up and I need a new daily driver before I do this... I'm looking at the Nissan Altima now (goddamn that car drives like a fskcing dream!) so once I get it, the Pathy is being decommissioned for a total overhaul! The old girl deserves it for putting up with the @!*% I've thrown at her with my rookie, noobie ways. Anyway, what I'm wondering is - what would be the best way to get all the dimensions and prints I need to do this? Should I set up the entire front half of the truck, or just do the frame to UCA's and make the mini from there? Is this even really possible on this scale (I'm thinking 1/5th or 1/10th scale)?
