Questions about things to service

Aighty... I'm learning about some other things I never thought of:

Greasing U-Joints, CV Joints, Auto-Hubs, Tire Carrier Joints, Ball Joints, etc...

My question is this:

At least the last 50-75k miles, I haven't done ANY of those things. The only things I've really done are oil changes, topped off random other fluids (tranny, break, etc) and the other "minor" things...

Should I replace some parts at this point? I have noise coming from either my hubs or my CV joints or boots... I think my front hubs are stuck locked :( Planned fix are the WARN manuals once I can afford em.

Anyway, case in point- would it be worth it in terms of vehicle efficiency to replace the CV joints, U-Joints, hubs, ball joints, and the like with new ones and then maintain them? Would that help boost my mileage a little?

I also have an exhaust manifold leak due to broken studs... have not had the chance to fix that... cash and time things.

All in all, would doing this boost my fuel economy anything worthwhile? And is it worth doing as preventive maintenance?

clean air filter, clean MAF, well gapped and new spark plugs & wires, oil change & filter, clean anything that looks "gross", make sure there are no vaccum leaks, check cat, o2 sensor and entire exhaust for leaks, use lucas fuel additive (i swear by it, been usin it for YEARS), good belts & h2o pump...... i could go on forever....... one bad thing can make a lot of other things run worse...... but those are the basics. :aok:

air filter is a brand new K&N, fuel filter is brand new (K&N again), MAF is, I think, clean... should check that. Spark plugs are older than dirt (at least 75k miles) but I have new ones to put in. Oil and filter are brand new (forget brand... it's a better one though)

Cat, o2 sensor, exhaust, h2o pump, etc need checked

I use, and love, lucas.... use it's fuel, oil, and tranny additives :D

I have an exhaust manifold leak (the one that sounds like a sticking lifter) that I'm terrified to try to fix since A) she's my daily and B) I don't have anywhere near the right equipment... dont' have a tap, reverse bit, or even a decent drill (moved out of my parents house and in with my girl)
