rod_b
Anyone ever take the fabric off the seats? Just wondering how hard it is to get off and back on. I've developed a rip in the driver's side seat. It's just the seam that's come apart so some of my mad sewing machine skillz should be able to repair it. I just don't know how hard it is to get the fabric off and back on...or if I should just take it to an upholstery place. Thanks
02silverpathy
Probably has hog rings holding the fabric tight to the seat frame. If you have the tool to remove (needle nose pliers?) and a tool to re-install you should be golden...thoug I have never tried it! I am not sure what the tool is to install and crimp them closed. Nissan3
It's just big white plastic clips that hold the fabric in place, most of the time you can just use your hands to pull them down and off but you can use a big flat headed screwdriver to make it easier. Its pretty simple to get them off but a real pain trying to tug them back in place, you should be able to do it just have to fight with the clips a bit
