difference in '89 & '90

Can you tell me the breakdown? '89 was 2 door only?

Was '90 2 and 4 door or one or the other. Is the rear suspension different from '89 to '90?

89: 2 door only, 4 cylinder was Z24I, 6 cylinder was VG30I ("I" is for throttle body fuel injection).

 

90: 2 and 4 door available (2 door '90s are rare), 4 cylinder became KA24E, 6 cylinder became VG30E ("E' is for multiport fuel injection - throttle body injection sucks, IMHO), minor interior trim changes including different instrument panel (IIRC). Late 90 production has remote keyless entry and alarm available, may have been standard on SE.

 

 

Other than the above and some other minor stuff, there isn't really any significant differences between an 89 and 90. The 90 versions will make more power because of the fuel injection system differences.
