I have a 97 Pathy and my AM reception sucks specially when I go under power lines. I drive my wife's Honda and she gets much better AM reception in places I dont. I have the window antenna on the windshield and also the automatic antenna. When I replaced the head unit with a Kenwood system I purchased an adapter for the antenna but the antenna wire looked like a regular antenna wire but with 2 prongs. Any help on this would ber appriciated. thanks

Yep, I think poor AM reception is just part of having the diversity antenna. Kenwood unit in my Pathy...awful. Kenwood unit with standard antenna in my Titan...awesome.

I dont get it though, I have the antenna that comes up automatically, I also have an antenna on the windshild (looks like an antenna) how does it connect? Can I do anything about it?
