spacer info:

I would be careful using more than 1" of spacer, you are increasing the angles on your CV's and thus increasing the wear & tear on them.

Thanks! That was fast. Haha.

Is there anyway to remedy the angles on the CVs?

Don't lift it!

Swapping out the stock hubs to the manual locking hubs helps, as you can unlock them, and the CV's wont be constantly turning as they do when stock... There's info in the lift threads, and likely more if you search for "WARN HUBS" in the R50 section. You'll just have to remember to lock them before you want to use 4WD.

Sorry to keep this going back and forth, but would the combination of an AC lift, manual locking hubs, and the 1" spacers mentioned in the other thread be a bad combination? Is that bad for the CVs? If not, what tires could I be running?

It shouldn't be too bad... I stayed away from the spacers because of possible wear issues... the less you lift it, the less angle, the less wear... I've actually been considering a 1" spacers now that the lift on mine has sagged in the front...

Someone else might be better to answer what tire you can fit -- I would think 32's would fit easy... I've only heard of a few running 33's on R50's... (I have 31's... so what do I know! :D)

I have the AC lift and am adding 1" spacers in the front. I am running 33x9.5x15 BFG AT's with very, very little rub. I did add the Warn Hubs so I only use the CV's when in the dirt. I was thinking of going with 2" of spacer lift in the front but after jacking up the front and seeing the actual radical increase on the CV angle from 1" to 2" decided to just go with the 1". The 9.5's are not good for sandy conditions but work quite well on dirt and rock.

Thanks for the info! I think I'm going to be buying the AC lift and getting some 1" spacers in the near future. (not to mention new tires/wheels)

Stock Pathy, be no more...

Save your self some bucks and get the AC lift and spacers to install at the same time. Unless you are set up to do it yourself then it won't matter. I have to pay some one to do mine since I do not have the required tools. That and the spring compressor would most likely break and rip my head off.
