yak
hiya Need to fix some rust that has developed under front windscreen seal at the top, water is leaking into passenger side, anyone have an easy way to remove windscreen without (hopefully) breaking it...i want to repair rust myself and get the professionals to re-install windscreen when im finished. I would get the whole thing done by a panelbeater but i've recently had the same problem with my corolla and it was pretty bad and cost a bit to get done, so trying to be cheap...thanks
Kn0xville
havent removed one, sorry. If the rust isnt all to bad, try some urathane over it for a cheap easy fix.. instead of taking the 'windshield' out.
89_trailboss
best way I have found is some wire. I used the cruse control wire off my pathfinder. 2 ppl and make sure the wire is as parrallel with the glass as possable. its pretty damn easy realy. worse part is getting the wire threw to start.
