Throttle Body And Cv Shaft

my 87 pathfinder v6, it sounded like the TPS (throttle position sensor) was going out because it would go from 1500 to 1900 rpm over and over at idle. like a dying animal. it is annoying to the point of pissing me off. i replaced it and it is still doing it. so luckily i work at oreillys so i can just take it back and get my money. not sure if it is idle up solenoid or what, any suggestions will be helpful

And when i get done playing in the mud my hub unlocks but then clunks when i am starting out if first in 2 wheel drive. i know my cv, needs replaced but it sounds like the hub, could it be my transfer case or what? took the hub off and it spun freely with no problems. could my transfer case not completly be disengaging. only the passenger side does it.

If it's just the passenger side, it's more than likely a drivetrain issue. The transfer case disengages when you shift from 4H to 2H, but if your hub does not unlock, then you're still turning the drivehaft and diff.
